Referring to your letter dated the 20th of October 1893

I have the honour to report, for the information of the Sec-

retary of State/ that in accordance with a telegram dated

the 27th July which we received from the Governor of Hong

Kong we drew on the Colonial Treasurer under yesterday's

date on demand for $200,000 realizing at the exchange of

29/14 per the sum of £21,236-14-4.
